Our Fourth Anniversary

 We spent a week in Las Vegas and a week in Los Angeles!  Daniel stayed at Gigi and Grandaddy's and had lots of fun, too!

  On our first night in Vegas, we stayed at the Tropicana!

  The next morning, we took a chartered plane to ..

  the Grand Canyon!...

  We flew over Hoover Dam on the way!...

  It was very exciting to see the Grand Canyon for the first time together!...

  We had a great time seeing the Canyon from different angles,...

  and we even saw some California Condors flying overhead!...

  After flying back to Las Vegas,...

  we checked into Mandalay Bay (the Penthouse Suite!!) for a couple of days... 

  We had a great view of the pools from our room, and even saw the Beach Boys perform!...

  We had so much fun playing in the wave pool and floating down the lazy river!

   We had fun eating and hanging out at the Hard Rock Cafe,

  then checked into the Venetian for a couple of days!...

  We enjoyed the pools,...

  and watching the volcano erupt at the Mirage at night!

  We also went to the Rat Pack Tribute Show...

  It was fun getting dressed up and spending a night on the town!

  July 6, 2006 - Our 4th Anniversary!

  When we first got to Hoover Dam, it was raining AND sleeting!...

  but an hour later, it was sunny and hot. Again.

  We went on the dam tour...

  and made some dam pictures.

  Viva Las Vegas!

  Then we drove to LA and spent a few days at Disneyland!...

  It was fun seeing all the decorations for the 50th anniversary of the park!...

  We saw Mickey,...

  Goofy...

  Pluto...

Tigger...

  Pooh...

  and Minnie!...

  We always ride the Dumbo ride together!...

  We also rode on the antique fire truck, and got to ring the bell as we drove down Main Street!...

  We went to Disney's California Adventure,...

  where we had lots of fun riding the roller coasters!

  While we were in Hollywood, we were in the audience for The Price is Right, and got to wear those nifty name tags!

  We also went to the beach...

  in Santa Monica!

  And we saw the Queen Mary in Long Beach!

  We also went to NBC Studios, where Lane posed on the Days of Our Lives set!...

  and we were in the audience for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno!

  During our drive back to Las Vegas, we had fun making stops along the way!...

  After a night at the Sahara, we drove back to the airport and headed home!

  After we returned home, we celebrated our anniversary with a dinner at Strawberry Cafe and wedding cake at home!
