Daniel - April 2006

  We spent a weekend in Birmingham so that Daniel could meet...

  Thomas the Tank Engine!!

  Daniel had so much fun playing with the trains,

  playing on the trains,

  waving from the trains,

  and climbing on the trains!!...

  But his favorite was riding on the train!  We sat in the open-air coach, right behind Thomas!...

  which gave us a great view of the scenery, especially when we went under the bridge (I-65)!!

  While we were in Birmingham, we visited with Gigi, Grandaddy, Uncle Brad, Aunt Lauren, Gran, and Bita!

  During April, Daniel's crib became a toddler bed!  He is such a big boy!, and can climb in and out of bed all by himself!!

At the church Easter Egg Hunt, we met the Easter Bunny!...

  and found lots of candy-filled eggs!!...

  Daddy and Daniel had lots of fun running from egg to egg!...

  And Daniel enjoyed counting and eating his candy!!

  At our Preschool Easter Party, we had lots of fun...

  eating snacks,...

  hunting eggs,...

  and eating candy (again!!)!

  On Easter Sunday, we went to church,...

  and checked out what Easter Bunny had left!...

  After a quick lesson from Daddy, Daniel was a pro at cutting down trees with his new chain saw!

  We spent Easter afternoon hunting eggs that were hidden throughout the house!

  Momma and Daniel spent a week in Ft Worth with Daddy during one of his business trips!  We enjoyed going to the Ft Worth Zoo, where Daniel showed the elephants his "Roll Tide"!  (He's rolling his arms!:)...

  We also played on the playground, where Daniel wrestled this komodo dragon,...

  and we spent several hours in the "Coral Reef" sandbox!!
