We went to the Heart of Dixie Railroad Museum in Birmingham, where we met Thomas
the Tank Engine!...
Daniel was very excited to see Thomas pull into the station!...
...along with Annie and Clarabel, Thomas's coaches!...
We all had fun going on a train ride in one of the coaches!...
We also met Sir Topham Hatt...
and spent a LOT of time playing with the toy Thomas trains,...
and checking out the other exhibits at the Railroad Museum!...
Momma, Daddy, and Daniel all love trains!!
We also had fun at our Preschool Easter egg hunt!...
Daniel loves hunting Easter eggs,...
goofing off with his best bud, Ty...
and eating cupcakes and cookies!
We also took a day trip down the Natchez Trace! We stopped by the ruins of
Windsor in Port Gibson...
and went to Emerald Mound outside of Natchez!...
This is the second largest Indian mound in the country (8 acres), and Daniel and
Daddy had lots of fun running from one side to the other!!...
We finally made our way to Natchez, where we went to the museum, drove by
several antebellum homes, ate at Cock of the Walk, and (Daniel's favorite part!)
drove over the *really big!* bridge!
We love to get up early on Saturdays and eat breakfast at McDonald's!
Daniel loves to eat pancakes, then play on the playground!
At our church Easter egg hunt,...
Daniel found lots of eggs, and we even met the Easter Bunny!
We had fun dying Easter eggs at home,...
and hiding/hunting them around the house!
On Easter morning, Daniel enjoyed seeing what Easter Bunny left in his basket!
He got a Lightning McQueen fishing rod and tackle box, bubble maker, a John
Deere book and toy, and candy!
We then attended Easter worship service at Parkway Hills UMC!
Daniel had so much fun taking swim lessons and Ms Lou's house with Ty!
We also spent a week at DisneyWorld! We had so much fun meeting the
characters and riding all the exciting rides!
