Daniel - December 2005

We always visit with Santa before Christmas!!

  December 9, 2005 - Daniel's 2nd Birthday!!

We started off the day with a party at preschool where we had cookies shaped like a "2" ...

... and Daniel wore the birthday crown and led the pledge!! ...

Then we ate lunch at Chick fil A, where Daniel spent most of his time on the playground!!...

At home, we had a John Deere themed party, ...

with a Momma-made John Deere tractor cake! ...

and a John Deere tractor to play with!!  Along with a truck, some farm animals, and lots of books!!

Yum!! Birthday cake is good!! ...

Everyone came to celebrate Daniel's birthday!  Aunt Lauren, Uncle Brad, Bita, Gigi, Grandaddy, Daddy, and Daniel are all ready for a delicious holiday dinner!!

  Daniel loves to read books!!

At our preschool Christmas party, Daniel decided that gingerbread men are very tasty!!

Deer Huntin'....    Daddy & Momma made a baby deer for their dear baby!  We put it in the front yard with Santa and the other wooden reindeer!!

We enjoy celebrating Jesus' birthday at church!!

Waiting for Santa on Christmas Eve!...

Daddy read the Night Before Christmas!...

and Daniel put another decoration on the advent tree!

Daniel got Thomas the Tank Engine as his Christmas Eve gift!...

and enjoyed putting it on the electric train running around the base of the Christmas tree!!

Daniel has had his rocking horse a full year!!  (The green pj's are Christmas Morning 2004!)

Christmas Morning 2005!!  Santa left lots of toys for Daniel!!

He really enjoyed playing with his tool bench....

and Thomas trains!  He liked them so much that he wanted to play with them instead of open his gifts from Daddy & Momma (all those wrapped gifts in the background!!)!

We had so much fun unwrapping gifts and playing with new toys!!

The living room was full of toys, boxes, bows, wrapping paper piles, and happiness!!

Daniel loves all of his toys!!  He got a Little People Garage, workbench, Legos, Tonka truck, soccer ball, Mickey Mouse, several Thomas trains, several Hot Wheels, police & army hats, John Deere garbage can, and lots of books and videos!!

After a delicious Christmas brunch, we went to Birmingham to visit family!!

  We had a great 2005!!
