Daniel - December 2006

  We started the month by watching the Madison Christmas parade!  It was very cold that day!!

  Daniel helped Daddy put Christmas lights on the front of the house!

  We celebrated Daniel's birthday at preschool with Lightning McQueen cupcakes...

   and the birthday crown!...

  Momma and Daddy are so proud of their big 3 year old!

  December 9, 2006 - Daniel's 3rd Birthday!  We had a party at Build-a-Bear for Daniel's Sunday school class!...

  Daniel named his bear "Snowball Trace" ....

  The kids had so much fun stuffing their bears!...

  Then we celebrated in the food court with Lightning McQueen cupcakes and presents!!

  Momma decorated a Lightning McQueen cake for Daniel's birthday party at home!...

  He had lots of fun blowing out the candle!...

  He is such big boy!...

  Daniel had lots of fun opening all of his CARS toys!...

  and eating his CARS cake!

  Daniel likes riding on his four wheeler,

  ...and dressing up like Mater!

  We attended holiday services at church...

  and went to visit Santa!

  Daniel decorated his own Christmas tree in his room all by himself!

  Daniel celebrated with his friends at his Preschool Christmas party,...

  where he made a special mixture of "reindeer food"!

  On Christmas Eve, he spread the reindeer food in the yard so that Rudolph would have a snack that night!

  We also stopped by the Madison caboose, where Daniel posed with Santa!

  On Christmas Eve, we also went to our property in the country and found a Daniel-size Christmas tree!...

  he and Daddy cut it down for us to take home and...

  decorate with our special family ornaments!  Everyone in our family has an ornament with their name on it!...

  We also baked and decorated Christmas cookies,...

  read the Night Before Christmas,...

  read the Nativity story,...

  put an ornament on the Advent tree,...

  got our Christmas Eve gift,...

  and our new Christmas Eve pajamas!

On Christmas morning, Daniel was very excited to see all his gifts, and even found bootprints left by Santa!!...

  He enjoyed playing with his racetrack,...

  Mack car carrier,...

  Hot Wheels,...

  flashlights,...

and a John Deere tractor Power Wheel!!!...

  which was promptly taken outside for a test drive!...

  Daniel got lots of great toys this year, and enjoys playing with all of them!...

  We enjoyed our Christmas brunch,...

  and got ready to go to Birmingham to visit family and open more great gifts like...

   CARS!!! 

  Daniel really enjoyed celebrating the holiday this year, and we are very blessed to have him in our lives!
