Daniel - October 2004

Daniel loves to play on the quilt, especially with the pilots and airplane Daddy got for him at the Lockheed Martin plant in Ft. Worth!

Daniel also LOVES to look at and "read" books!

But playtime can be very tiring!

October 9th - Daniel is 10 months old!

Daniel has learned so much!  He can stand and take several steps, holding just ONE of Daddy's fingers!

Daniel also enjoys clapping to music!  (This is in "mid" clap!)

Daniel posed with some of our fall decorations, while wearing his pumpkin Halloween costume!

Momma didn't think she would ever get these pictures made, because Daniel kept acting silly, sticking his tongue out, and rolling the pumpkins down the hill!

We spent an afternoon at Nichols Boyd Pumpkin Patch, which is a few miles from our home.  During the hayride around the farm, we got to pet horses and donkeys....

and Daniel waved at a cow!...

We helped feed the catfish when we rode by the pond,...

then we finally made it to the pumpkin patch!  Daniel immediately spotted the one he wanted!

Daniel picked out this little one for himself,...

and the great, big one for Momma & Daddy!

He was, of course, the cutest pumpkin in the patch!...

We had a lot of fun picking pumpkins, and plan on making it a family tradition!

Our hometown's symbol is a big, red caboose (Madison, MS used to be a railroad town).  Can you spot Daniel?! 

  Daniel loved dressing up and sitting on the caboose!  (He liked it MUCH better than sitting in the flowers, in the picture above!)

Momma & Daddy's Little Engineer

Momma (and Daniel!) work at a local After School Care program three afternoons a week.  Daniel loves to play with the kids, and they love to play with him, too!

One of our After School Care field trips was to Bearly Made, a local stuff-your-own animal shop.  Daniel loved looking at all the stuffed animals available...

but, of course, chose the elephant!

  It's Halloween!  Momma dressed up like a witch, and Daniel wore his pumpkin costume.  He also carried the trick-or-treat bag that Momma made & decorated for him!

Daniel's first trick-or-treat!  Everyone thought he was the cutest pumpkin ever!

We had lots of fun trick-or-treating and celebrating Halloween together!

      Don't these babies look cute?  They have the same bears & chair! 

    And these babies have the same quilt, chair, and apple toy!

But these pictures were made 26 years apart!  That's Daniel on the left, and Momma on the right!
