After School Care & Preschool

Lane worked part time as an After School Care teacher (and occasionally substituted as a Preschool teacher) at Madison United Methodist Church from 2002 to 2007. 

The After School Care program runs from 2 to 6 pm on weekdays, and has about 40 students from kindergarten through sixth grade.  After being picked up from school, the kids participate in daily group play, art projects, homework time, and devotion.  Once a week they watch a movie, and once a month, they go on a field trip and participate in a mission project. 

The Preschool program runs from 8 am to 12 pm on weekdays, and has about 60 students from age two through five.  The kids participate in daily group play, art projects, story time, and devotion. Science, math, and language skills are incorporated into age-appropriate lessons.
